Dr Muxina Konarova has been appointed ECR representative for the Australian Catalysis Society. Congratulations, we are looking forward to work with Muxina.
Pacifichem 2020 will organise a symposium of In-Situ and Operando Studies of Spectroscopy, Microscopy, and Catalysis for Chemical and Energy Transformations (#162) under Chemistry of Energy Section.
The IACS board has now sent out information regarding scholarship applications. The decisions on abstracts are currently being sent out. Can applicants for scholarships please send the requested information to me by COB 24th February. I am sorry for the short timeframe but IACS has very tight timing on the submission of the nationally selected candidates.
The 2018 David Trimm and Noel Cant lectureship was awarded to Prof. Avelino Corma sponsored by the Catalysis Society of Australia.
The lectureship is awarded to an individual for outstanding contributions in the area of catalysis and catalytic processes. The primary consideration in the selection is the quality and impact of the recipients work in catalysis. The lectures are given in the major catalysis centres all over Australia by a distinguished and eloquent speaker on a suitable topic in Catalysis and Catalytic processes.
